About The Position

The Cook 2 prepares meals that delight guests and works with the culinary team to maintain consistent food quality, efficient kitchen operations, and compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Under the direction of the chef, the line cook is responsible for food preparation and ensuring superior quality, consistency, and presentation.

Requirements

• Food Handler's Certification required.
• Strong culinary skills, including knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare appetizers, entrees, and desserts according to recipes and standards.
• Ensure food meets the highest quality standards.
• Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth operations and efficient workflow.
• Assist with special events and catering as needed.
• Prepare food and ensure superior quality, consistency, and presentation under the direction of the chef.
