Requirements

Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience required
Previous Food & Beverage experience required
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm, courteous and responsive at all times

Responsibilities

Supervise the Banquet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed
Check room set-up to see that Banquet Event Order directions are completely followed
Act as point of contact for group representatives
Assist Banquet Servers in all food and beverage items for assigned banquet meetings and events
Address guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
Oversee staff to ensure that proper liquor controls are in use
Assist with training new team members
Conduct daily pre-shift departmental meetings in the absence of Banquet Manager
Have full knowledge of all menu items being served
Assist with the set up and serving at events when needed
Inspect banquet areas at end of function to ensure all equipment is returned to its proper area and all areas are clean
Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete
