Requirements

  • We will teach you all necessary skills to be able to execute your job safely, no formal experience is needed
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, to bend, lift and carry objects up to 40lbs

Responsibilities

  • Have the banquet captain phone at all times or make sure a lead has it until another captain is available.
  • Have all food labels made and set out prior to the food being served.
  • Lead and support banquet service team on the floor.
  • Flexible schedule to be on the around during high demand times, group arrivals, and group departures.
  • Attend group BEO reviews and PreCons when Ryan is unavailable.
  • Attend weekly 10-day meeting when Ryan is unavailable.
  • Manage and develop members of the service team by engaging in any improvements needed.
  • Provide open and honest feedback to the service team as well as department management.
  • Will lead by example and hold the team accountable in adhering to department standards in food and beverage service, service attitude, personal behavior, and personal presentation.
  • Assist in modernizing banquet presentation within department budget guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between the group contacts and banquet service team.
