Banquet Captain (Full-time, Seasonal)
About The Position
The Country Club at DC Ranch is seeking an experienced Full-time, Seasonal Banquet Captain to join their Food & Beverage team. This role is crucial in creating first-class experiences for Members and guests by overseeing the execution of banquets, weddings, tournaments, Club events, and other special functions. The Banquet Captain will lead the banquet service team, coordinate event set-up and meal service, execute BEOs, lead pre-shift meetings, and collaborate with the Catering and Culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution to the highest standard. This role runs from October to late May.
Requirements
- Current AZ Food Handler’s Card
- Previous experience working with private parties, weddings, and banquet events required
- Weekend/Holiday availability is required
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the execution of banquets, weddings, tournaments, Club events, and other special functions.
- Leading the banquet service team.
- Coordinating event set-up and meal service.
- Executing BEOs (Banquet Event Orders).
- Leading pre-shift meetings.
- Working closely with Catering and Culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution.
