About The Position

To service, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently. To maintain knowledge of assigned function, along with opening and closing duties. To maintain cleanliness of all banquet areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• High school graduate
• Knowledge of food, wine & liquor service preferred.
• Complete the South Carolina state-approved ServSafe Alcohol Online Course & Exam within 30 days of hire
• Possess a valid ABL Server License issued by the state of South Carolina within 30 days of hire
• Requires the ability to prepare drinks and provide service to the guests at any given time.
• Needs to be able to work well under pressure.
• Ability to communicate in English with management, co-worker, and the guests.
• Must be able to lift minimum weight of 20 lbs.
• Capable of working consecutive hours without sitting down.
• Pushing or pulling portable bar(s) without help of others is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of food, wine & liquor service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Able to follow directions as well as specific tasks given from the Banquet Director, Banquet Manager, Beverage Captain and the Banquet Captain.
• Responsible for understanding the assigned functions and able to deliver from opening duties until the closing duties with minimal supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of their respective areas.
