About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and experienced Banquet Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service during weddings, corporate events, meetings, receptions, and other banquet functions. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for preparing the bar before events, serving guests throughout the function, and maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar. This position works closely with the banquet team to provide efficient service and create a positive experience for our guests.

Requirements

Previous bartending experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Dependable and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Set up banquet bars according to event specifications, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other supplies
Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
Greet guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service
Maintain knowledge of standard cocktails and drink preparation
Monitor the bar throughout events and replenish supplies as needed
Verify identification and follow responsible alcohol-service practices
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and notify banquet leadership of any concerns
Maintain a clean and organized bar and surrounding service area
Follow event details and instructions provided by banquet leadership
Work closely with banquet servers, captains, and other team members to ensure events run smoothly
Break down the bar following events and properly return and store supplies
Follow all hotel, sanitation, safety, and alcohol-service policies
Assist the banquet team with additional event duties as needed
