About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Banquet Bartender. Responsibilities include preparing cocktails and other drinks, serving wine and beer, collecting payments, arranging bar displays, garnishing drinks, and maintaining bar supplies. The role also involves handling guest complaints, adhering to etiquette and serve-safe procedures, and assisting other service personnel. Additionally, the position requires assisting in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris, including basic cleaning.

Requirements

  • Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.
  • Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
  • Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.
  • Relevant training and experience required.
  • Ability to obtain required alcohol server certificate.

Nice To Haves

  • High school education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar using proper measuring techniques
  • Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.
  • Collect money for drinks and food served.
  • Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
  • Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
  • Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in bar area.
  • Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.
  • Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.
  • Practice and observe all serve-safe rules and procedures.
  • Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.
  • Assist in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris including basic cleaning.
