About The Position

Hilton San Diego Bayfront is seeking a Banquet Bartender to provide beverage service and memorable guest experiences at events. The role involves welcoming guests, learning menu items and specials, taking and entering beverage orders into the point-of-sale system, delivering orders promptly, and keeping the service station stocked, clean, and organized. The bartender also supports event preparation and follows health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness requirements. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous bartending experience.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Proficient English communication skills and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Create a friendly, upbeat atmosphere and proactively look for ways to improve the guest experience.
• Learn menu items and specials to answer guest questions confidently.
• Take beverage orders, enter orders into the point-of-sale system, and deliver completed orders promptly.
• Keep the service station stocked, clean, and organized.
• Assist with event preparation, including cleaning and restocking supplies.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
