About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated Banquet Bartender to join their team at Stonewall Resort. This role is responsible for providing consistent quality service through professional food and beverage service in the Banquet department. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to liquor laws and beverage service policies, possess knowledge of drink recipes and wine service, and be able to serve beverages with proper garnishes and present liquor on banquet bars. Responsibilities include setting up and preparing banquet rooms, serving and clearing tables, and tearing down rooms at the end of functions. The position requires maintaining product on the bar, managing house banks, and accurately collecting payments. The banquet bartender must also be knowledgeable of banquet server requirements and operate accordingly. This is an opportunity to grow and learn at a world-class property.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience necessary.
  • Excellent organization, communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of Triple "A" Four Diamond service standards.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and wine service.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and prepare banquet room for banquet functions.
  • Serve and bus tables.
  • Clear and tear down banquet rooms at the end of the function.
  • Provide consistent quality service through professional food and beverage service in the Banquet department.
  • Carry out policies and procedures of Stonewall Resort and Benchmark Hospitality.
  • Ensure that liquor laws and liquor rules of the State of West Virginia and the beverage service policies of Stonewall Resort are strictly adhered to.
  • Serve beverages in proper glassware with proper garnish.
  • Properly present liquor on banquet bars.
  • Ensure proper set up of the back bar table for banquet bars.
  • Follow details on function sheets regarding set-up, service, and breakdown of beverage functions.
  • Maintain lines of communication with supervisors and guests to ensure that all needs are fulfilled.
  • Attend all meetings as required.
  • Knowledge of property layout and ability to direct guests utilizing daily event and function sheets.
  • Responsible for accuracy of any "add-on" sheets.
  • Maintain uniform and grooming standards as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Always maintain product on the bar and house bank during function.
  • Maintain accurate pouring and collection of payment for all drinks.
  • Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior.
  • Be knowledgeable in the banquet servers requirements, and operate in the same manner as a server.
