About The Position

This is a part-time Banquet Bartender position. The role involves ensuring correct and high-quality bar service for events, setting up portable bars with necessary items, maintaining bar supplies, and making beverages. Responsibilities also include using a POS system to process guest drink purchases and standing for long periods.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with guests and associates.
• Previous experience in high-volume bar as bartender
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Able to work in high pressure and fast paced situations
• Able to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Be able to accurately memorize drink ingredients and garnishes for use in beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Work with various hotel Associates in Food and Beverage and Catering to ensure bar service for events is correct and up to standards of quality.
• Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
• Maintain bar supplies throughout the function.
• Standing for long periods.
• Making really great beverages! Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.
