Banquet Barback
About The Position
Four Seasons is looking for a Barback to join their team at the Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel. The ideal candidate will share a passion for excellence and infuse enthusiasm into their work. This role offers the opportunity to shape guest experiences by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of the hotel's renowned standards. The Barback will work harmoniously with bartenders and other colleagues to maintain bar stocks, change kegs, collect empty glassware, and ensure the cleanliness of the bar. This role involves efficiently and continuously re-stocking the bartender's area with necessary items such as liquor, ice, fruit, and straws. Additionally, the Barback will assist the bartender in monitoring guests at the bar and fulfilling guest requests to ensure satisfaction and exceptional service.
Requirements
- Continuous standing for up to 8 hours a day.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Work authorization for the location is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining bar stocks by assisting with inventory.
- Change kegs.
- Collect empty glassware.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the bar.
- Efficiently and continuously re-stock bartender area with liquor, ice, fruit, straws, etc.
- Assist the bartender with monitoring guests at the bar.
- Complete guest requests to ascertain satisfaction and ensure exceptional service.
- Clear, clean and set-up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner.
- Greet guests according to Four Seasons Standards to ensure superior service.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Stock side stations with linens, china, glass, silver, and paper goods for service.
- Fill requisitions of beer, liquor, soda, fruit juices, garnishes, and ice for bartenders.
- Breakdown, clean and set-up side stations and back of house areas.
- Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
