About The Position

Founded in the 1970’s, we are a full-service law firm with over 150 attorneys across 6 states. This role involves representing debtors, Chapter 7 trustees, secured creditors, and lenders in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, handling matters under Chapters 7 and 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The position also includes representing secured lenders in loan workouts and related negotiations, advising clients on bankruptcy laws, creditors’ rights, and insolvency-related matters, drafting and reviewing various legal documents, and appearing in bankruptcy court for hearings and negotiations.

Responsibilities

Represent debtors, Chapter 7 trustees, secured creditors, and lenders in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings.
Handle matters arising under Chapters 7 and 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
Represent secured lenders in loan workouts and related negotiations.
Advise clients on bankruptcy laws, creditors’ rights, and insolvency-related matters.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery demands, settlement agreements, and other bankruptcy-related filings.
Appear in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings, conferences, negotiations, and related proceedings.
