About The Position

As a Senior Deposit Operations Support Specialist, you will support Bank Operations and other areas of the bank by providing a range of back-office operational support duties. You will be responsible for ensuring that your assigned operational functions are efficiently and accurately performed while maintaining a high quality of customer service and optimal departmental workflow. One of your key responsibilities is to work across the organization on complex back-office bank operational issues. You will serve as the subject matter expert in a given operational area, product, or service; and will provide bank-wide operational support, monitoring, and customer assistance. Responsible for supporting the Deposit Operations Support Manager in performing and developing an expertise in daily back-office banking operations. Ensures efficient and accurate operational support to internal business partners and/or clients and that the daily operations of the department run smoothly and efficiently. Provide a high level of responsiveness to inquiries related to a wide-range of banking transactions. Analyze, research, and resolve escalated issues. Ensure clarity and direction, and exhibit the necessary follow-through with customers and/or staff involved. Assist in mitigating risk, verifying audit compliance, and procedural quality control. Ensures compliance with established Bank policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations. Assist entry-level roles with training and development through feedback, mentoring, and training sessions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience in Banking Operations or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to independently research and solve simple to moderately complex scenarios.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Back office banking operations experience preferred.
