About The Position

As a Senior Deposit Operations Support Specialist, you will support Bank Operations and other areas of the bank by providing a range of back office operational support duties. This role involves ensuring assigned operational functions are performed efficiently and accurately, maintaining high-quality customer service, and optimizing departmental workflow. A key responsibility is to address complex back office bank operational issues across the organization, serving as a subject matter expert in a specific operational area, product, or service, and providing bank-wide operational support, monitoring, and customer assistance. Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience in Banking Operations or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to independently research and solve simple to moderately complex scenarios.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Back office banking operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support Bank Operations and other areas of the bank by providing an array of back office operational support duties.
  • Ensure that assigned operational functions are efficiently and accurately performed while maintaining a high quality of customer service and optimal departmental workflow.
  • Work across the organization on complex back office bank operational issues.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in a given operational area, product, or service.
  • Provide bank wide operational support, monitoring, and customer assistance.
  • Support the Deposit Operations Support Manager in performing and developing an expertise in daily back office banking operations.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate operational support to internal business partners and/or clients and the daily operations of the department run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to inquiries related to a wide-range of banking transactions.
  • Analyze, research, and resolve escalated issues.
  • Ensure clarity and direction, and exhibit the necessary follow through with customers and/or staff involved.
  • Assist in mitigating risk, verifying audit compliance, and procedural quality control.
  • Ensure compliance with established Bank policies, procedures and state and federal regulations.
  • Assist entry level roles with training and development through feedback, mentoring, and training sessions.
