Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred.
  • Experience working with 3rd Party Vendors / Vendor Management.
  • 3 - 5 years’ bank office, payments, and banking experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Sharepoint

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily operations related to bankcard maintenance and payment support functions within Payment Operations.
  • Provides guidance and direction to team members while ensuring high-quality service delivery to internal partners, community bank clients, and commercial card stakeholders.
  • Coordinates complex reporting, reviews analytical work, monitors settlement activities, and ensures accurate maintenance processes across multiple disciplines, including fraud, debit card, commercial card, Zelle, ACH, and other payment channels.
  • Manages escalated operational scenarios, assists staff in troubleshooting complex issues, and ensures all activities comply with regulatory requirements, network operating rules, and internal control standards.
  • Partners with management to identify risks, implement process improvements, and support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and quality.
  • Provides coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities to team members.
  • Supports operational planning, helps establish best practices, and serves as a subject matter resource for team and department leadership.
  • Evaluates market conditions and peer bank behavior to identify internal and external trends and issues affecting back-office procedures, policies and processes to determine appropriate tasks, engagement models and risks for optimal portfolio support.
  • Collaborates with multiple lines of business, Finance, and Risk partners to assess and establish processes to understand its implications, as well as to establish policies and procedures governing the identification, monitoring, and management of payment operations.
  • Develops, monitors, and maintains KPIs and Metrics for Bankcard Solutions – Disputes, Research and Maintenance.
  • Identifies and communicates with key stakeholders.
  • Gathers, reviews, and analyzes business and industry data, including KPIs, financial reports and other key metrics using data analytics tools.
  • Liaises between various business departments and groups.
  • Assesses options for process improvement, including business process mapping.
  • Maintains documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations.
  • Collaborates with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Documents and works with Key Business Partners to resolve issues by evaluating workable solutions, negotiating resolutions, and implementing solutions.
  • Prepares monthly reporting on Key metrics, SLAs, and business initiatives.
  • Manages and delivers strategic sourcing and outsourcing engagements across all phases of the sourcing lifecycle.
  • Understands existing, new, and developing regulatory expectations.
  • Works closely with the leadership teams of the functions and lines of business to oversee on-boarding, risk acceptance, exit / contingency planning and ongoing monitoring of vendors and outsourcing partners.
