About The Position

At Regions, the Bank Operations Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Bank Operations. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Two (2) years of operations or related work experience
Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
Data entry and typing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

Technical and operational experience in a banking, financial services, or related environment preferred.
Working knowledge of ATM operations, cash management processes, and banking procedures.
Strong understanding of banking systems, transaction processing, and operational controls.
Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment.
Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed monthly production and performance goals.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes, systems, and changing business needs.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed
Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary
Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects specialized and/or complex documents
Researches and resolves related issues and general related questions
Works under limited supervision following established guidelines and procedures
Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
May provide guidance to less experienced team members
