Morgan Stanley has a position available in its Bank Legal group for an attorney with bank regulatory and digital asset experience. The position offers an opportunity to join a global financial services firm with work that presents challenging and often unique transactional, operational, and structural issues. The ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of relevant experience in the bank regulatory practice of a major law firm, bank, or federal banking agency. The position will be with the Bank Legal group in Morgan Stanley's Legal and Compliance Division in the Dallas metro area reporting to the Head of Bank Regulatory Legal, who reports to the U.S. banks' General Counsel. Morgan Stanley's Bank Legal group offers advice to internal clients globally across all of the Firms' business segments operating on the firm's national bank subsidiaries on applicable OCC and Federal Reserve rules and regulations, including on product offerings, transaction structures, documentation and execution standards, franchise risk and related corporate matters. This position will provide advice on a variety of U.S. bank regulatory matters but will have a particular focus on providing bank regulatory legal support to the Firm's initiatives related to digital assets, including Morgan Stanley's establishment of a digital asset trust bank, and the development of associated fiduciary activities.
