About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Consumer Compliance professional to support testing and monitoring activities within a financial institution's compliance program on a contract basis. This opportunity is remote with a duration of 6-8 weeks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- 20+ years of relevant compliance experience
- Prior experience as a Chief Compliance Officer at top US bank
- Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform compliance testing and monitoring of consumer lending and mortgage activities.
- Assess Compliance Management System (CMS) controls, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct fair lending reviews to identify potential compliance and regulatory risks.
- Document testing results, findings, and recommendations, and support remediation efforts.
