About The Position

Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company focused on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. We are seeking a 2nd Shift Bandsaw Operator to join our team. This is an indoor, year-round position with a positive, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years old.
Ability to lift and handle wood pallets that weigh 75-85 lbs.
Must meet fast-paced production requirements and established daily and weekly production targets.
Must adhere to all company safety requirements.
Must comply with all safety guidelines.
Must ensure all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is used at all times.
Must be able to perform basic adjustments to the machine, including changing saw blades, table adjustments, and ensuring safety guards are in place.
Must demonstrate proper cutting techniques to maximize blade usage and minimize stress on equipment.
Must be able to track production on required forms.
Must be able to clean the bandsaw operating area and restock lumber at the end of every shift.
Must be able to inspect pallets to determine if Connector Boards are broken and cut out defective components.
Must be able to gather needed components and position them in the pallet for repair.
Must be able to assure pallets needing teardown or scrapping are properly identified and segregated.
Must be able to tear down pallets and recover usable lumber components.
Must be able to document all reclaimed lumber on a daily production form.

Basic tool knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate a mechanical Smart Saw/band saw to cut/remove damaged lumber in the refurbishing of wood pallets.
Lift and handle wood pallets that weigh 75-85 lbs.
Meet fast-paced production requirements and established daily and weekly production targets.
Adhere to all company safety requirements.
Comply with all safety guidelines.
Ensure all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is used at all times.
Perform basic adjustments to the machine, including changing saw blades, table adjustments, and ensuring safety guards are in place.
Demonstrate proper cutting techniques to maximize blade usage and minimize stress on equipment.
Track production on required forms.
