About The Position

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Band Saw Operator to join their team. This role involves inspecting, setting up, measuring, and removing excess flash from processed forged metal parts. Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.

Responsibilities

Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
Inspect machinery to ensure it is in working order, making adjustments/replacements as necessary.
Perform preventive maintenance as specified.
Position parts on saw bed, offload and stack material in accordance with established procedures.
Inspect forged parts visually and by touch for excessive metal.
Maintain accurate part and/or work piece counts.
Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
