About The Position

As a large equipment operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.

Requirements

• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Received instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Adheres to Contech’s Employee Expectations.
• Completes pre-shift daily audit.
• Selects correct sheet type/length based off of daily band schedule.
• Operates Forklift, coil buggy, or overhead crane to position sheets at rolls.
• Adjusts rolls to form correct diameter.
• Feeds band sheet into roll form.
• Spot welds or hand welds various types of fasteners to formed band sheet.
• Paints welds if necessary.
• Moves finished product to designated areas.
• Completes production/quality control paperwork.
• Completes post-shift daily paperwork.
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Other duties assigned.
