About The Position
We are seeking a ballet teacher to support and boost our ballet programming within our dance studio. A ballet teacher is responsible for teaching, guiding, and inspiring students in the art of ballet. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of ballet techniques and history. This position is for The Art of Motion in Fayetteville, AR. The Art of Motion is a part of the Ensemble Performing Arts network.
Requirements
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
- Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
Nice To Haves
- Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
- Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
Responsibilities
- Instruct group classes in teaching ballet technique at varying levels.
- Have and utilize solid foundation in ballet.
- Choreograph dances for students of varying levels.
- Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
- Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
- Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
