About The Position

West Valley Dance Company (WVDC), a subdivision of Action Day Schools, provides professional dance education for dancers of all ages and skill levels. The company emphasizes child development, confidence building, creativity, connection, and community. It is seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Ballet Teacher for its Bascom Avenue studio in San Jose. Instructors teach dancers ranging from 18 months to 18 years old and serve as mentors who guide and inspire students.

The schedule is Monday through Friday from 4:00–8:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Compensation is $25–$50 per hour, depending on individual experience, education, and position requirements. Benefits are available to employees who work 30 or more hours per week.
