About The Position

Conferences and Institutes is seeking a Ballet Instructor for the STATE Musical Theatre Summer Program, which runs from July 26 to August 8, 2026. The Ballet Instructor is responsible for the 24-hour supervision and safety of minors participating in the program. This role involves managing all aspects of daily program administration, including adherence to youth compliance policies and procedures, emergency response, direct communication with the Program Director and Program Manager, collection, storage, and verification of medications, and oversight of participant health information. Youth Program Leaders may assist in developing instructional content and delivering lessons and activities. They are fully responsible for monitoring the safety, whereabouts, and actions of program participants at all times, including non-instructional periods. This includes identifying and responding to issues related to participant interactions, behavior, mental health, and acclimation to the program environment. Youth Program Leaders must be prepared to act quickly and calmly at any time of day or night, using sound judgment to handle sensitive issues or information, address behavioral problems, and immediately follow necessary notification protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour supervision and ensure the safety of minors.
