About The Position

Jordan's Furniture is looking for a team player to work in our busy QC and Returns departments at our Taunton, MA location. This position requires someone who enjoys staying busy all day and working independently. The hours for this role are Tuesday - Saturday, from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. We value transparency and share our pay range of $18.00 per hour, which reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance. Requirements

0-6 months of related experience or equivalent education/experience
Must be able to solely and safely lift and move materials up to 110 lbs.
Must be certified through company Crown Lift Training Program to safely operate forklift and Pallet Jack equipment.
Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

Transfers trash and recyclable material to the compactor/baler area and maintains a clean work area.
Separates recyclable material from trash.
Operates all machinery used to handle trash or recycled material.
Loads/unloads Junk bedding, Shuttle, Receiving and Recycling trailers.
Handles, repackages, and moves returned merchandise.
Sorts, transports, processes recycling material and disposes all trash generated from the department’s daily operations.
Assist with the overall cleanliness of the DC by ensuring floor is clear of recycling debris.
Uses and maintains tools and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor.
