About The Position

The Baler ITO maintains and operates forklifts and an automated baler system, moving products, equipment, and materials throughout the warehouse and into or out of trucks. The role includes handling incoming product and scrap, supporting production workers with materials, and maintaining housekeeping and safety practices in the warehouse. The position requires willingness and ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Detail-oriented.
Familiarity with personal protective equipment.
Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

Drive industrial trucks with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, and materials in the warehouse and in and out of trucks.
Operate forklift controls and position forks, platforms, or other lifting devices to handle loads and transport them to designated areas.
Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device.
Inventory materials on the work floor and supply materials to workers as needed.
Weigh materials or products and record weights in the computer system, tags, labels, or production schedules.
Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
Lubricate trucks, recharge batteries, or replace liquefied gas tanks as needed.
Unload and restack cardboard onto other pallets; handle top frames as needed.
Perform warehouse housekeeping using a broom and, occasionally, a spider web duster.
Inspect chucks under trailer wheels, inspect chipboard, and sort it.
Operate the automated baler system.
Handle and dump scrap or spoilage at the baler.
Immediately communicate issues with incoming product and follow up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
