Diagnose machinery problems based upon vibration data, test data, performance data, operational data, mechanical design data, and customer communications. Provide leadership, technical direction, and assistance to the customer, user, and other field personnel in the diagnostic evaluation and long-term maintenance of customers’ rotating machinery. Express excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel. Support customer’s desires and needs to achieve higher machinery asset and plant reliability. Perform mechanical troubleshooting, condition assessment, and corrective action recommendation including balancing as necessary of customer rotating equipment assets. Complete timely standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements. React to customer required travel in a timely manner, while bringing all required service, testing, and diagnostic equipment. Complete documentation of findings / recommendations / corrective actions. Create, review, and interpret technical reports and customer supplied information. Professionally communicate with customer and other team members. Assess job site safety and perform services as per company and client environmental, health, and safety policies. Understand Term & Conditions commitments, as well as contractual deadlines and requirement. Telecommuting / work from home permitted. Domestic US travel required 60% of the time.
