About The Position
The farm kitchen prepares a variety of baked goods for the Farmstand and Cafe. We are looking for an individual that is able to work closely with the Head Baker and Baking Assistant I to prepare fresh baked goods on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Detail oriented
- Able to follow instructions
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast paced kitchen
- Able to follow recipes
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable spending a full shift on their feet
- Ability to work the full season is a plus
Nice To Haves
- Kitchen experience preferred but will train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Assisting Head Baker with mixing ingredients, shaping and baking products
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Communicating daily with Head Baker
- Maintaining inventory for baked goods
- Assisting with other baking and kitchen tasks as needed
