About The Position

The Nugget Markets Kitchen, in our Woodland Warehouse, is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic team players with a whatever it takes attitude to join the bakery production team! This is a full time position with a more physical aspect that suits someone with experience working in a fast paced production environment. Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location, and length of employment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess basic math skills
Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read recipes, basic instructions, schedules and signage
Excellent communication skills
A sense of urgency while paying attention to details
Ability to multitask and prioritize
A positive attitude is essential!

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Prepping, baking, packaging, and labeling hundreds of baked goods daily for shipment to our stores.
Mixing, scaling, and benching dough.
Baking artisan breads and desserts.
Lifting and stacking flour.
Loading carts and racks.
Transferring products to refrigeration/freezers.
Palletizing and labeling products into boxes.
Operating various kitchen machinery, including ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers, and dough dividers.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment.
Working in extremely cold environments.
Proper food handling techniques.
