About The Position

Nugget Markets is seeking dedicated bakers with practical baking experience to join their talented and passionate bakery team. This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment during early morning hours, with shifts starting as early as 1:00 AM. The role may also involve working at various locations including Granite Bay, Roseville - Pleasant Grove, Roseville - Blue Oaks, Rocklin, or West Sacramento. Individual associate hourly rates are determined by factors such as experience, location, and length of employment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess basic math skills.
Must have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs.
Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage.
Excellent customer service skills.
A positive attitude is essential!

Responsibilities

Baking, merchandising, and packaging goods such as bagels, croissants, cookies, and other pastries.
Loading carts and racks with product.
Lifting and stacking flour.
Operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, and mixers.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment.
Assisting bakery clerks.
Providing world-class service to guests as needed.
