Bakery team members cross-train in the Joy Creator, Crafting, and Frosting departments, then rotate through departments as needed based on bakery needs and individual strengths. Joy Creators provide exceptional guest service, build genuine connections with the community, and help guests select cakes for celebrations. Crafters decorate cakes and package orders according to brand standards. Frosters prepare frosting, frost products, and help meet daily production demands. The role includes morning and afternoon shifts, with some scheduling flexibility for school schedules. General shifts are 9:00 a.m.–3:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.; Sunday shifts are 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. At least one day of weekend availability is required, and scheduling priority is given to candidates who can work as needed. Team members may also work offsite events and must be flexible to work during the holiday season, including the weeks leading up to Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The bakery is projected to open between June 6 and June 20. Because construction may affect the timeline, flexibility around onboarding and training dates is requested. Compensation is $12.00–$13.00 per hour.
