About The Position

The Fresh Market is seeking a team member to help deliver excellent guest service and make everyday eating extraordinary. Team members may work in any store department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. The role includes assisting guests with meal solutions, maintaining product and weekly-ad knowledge, merchandising and stocking products, gathering shopping carts, and performing general housekeeping duties. This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Requirements

• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests to learn their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to assist guests.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day.
• Assist nearby guests while merchandising and stocking.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present oneself professionally and adhere to uniform standards.
