About The Position

Reporting to the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Team Member will perform a variety of responsibilities in the operation, ensuring alignment with our Core values and Brand. This includes understanding and following Westview Co-op’s policies and procedures, participating in the Health and Safety Program and promoting a culture of safety. The role involves providing professional, people-first, service to our Members and Guests and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto. Key duties include production, packaging and merchandising of products, food preparation with a focus on baking, following proper food safe regulations, accurate ordering and receiving of product, and ensuring a high level of image and cleanliness in line with Brand expectations. Other projects and assignments may be required. This position requires the use of equipment including ovens and slicers, as well as frequent heavy lifting of products. Candidates for this position will be responsible for working early mornings, with a 5:00 am start time.

Requirements

• Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
