About The Position

This is an hourly lead position responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Bakery Counter Sales Section. The role involves assisting the Department Manager and supervising counter staff, with a focus on customer service, employee relations, scheduling, training, ordering, pricing, merchandising, promotions, product demonstrations, suggestive selling, stock rotation, record keeping, inventory control, markdowns, and maintaining housekeeping and sanitation standards. Additional related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must be available to be scheduled 35+ hours a week, including nights and weekends, based on department needs.
• Familiarity with Bakery Merchandise Preferred But Not Required.
• Lifting, Bending, Stooping, Pulling And Pushing With Repetitive Lifting To 50#; Occasional Lifting To 80#.
• Customer Relations
• Able To Work With Minimal Supervision
