About The Position

85°C Bakery Cafe is hiring for its Store Management Team for a new location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Training will be provided in Cerritos, CA from approximately 6/7-7/18, with travel and board covered. 85°C Bakery Cafe is a global bakery & beverage retail business, founded in 2004, known for providing high-quality pastries and drinks at affordable prices. With over 1,000 stores worldwide, the company is seeking individuals for its Store Management Team, which is responsible for leading all aspects of store operations, including customer service, cost management, and training.

Requirements

Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in fast food or other related food operations, at a leadership level position.
Strong organizational, communications, and leadership skills.
Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines to meet new or changing demands.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Good attendance and available to work overtime when needed.
Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
Adapt and demonstrate thorough understanding of the 85°C concept.
Available to work on weekends and holidays.
Moderate physical activity required, including moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
Nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead.
May be exposed to extreme temperatures of coolers and freezers.

Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Take essential responsibility for the business performance of their respective stores.
Ensure sales profitability through service excellence and lean operation.
Prepare periodic reports, including sales control and employee scheduling.
Organize and supervise employee shifts.
Participate in management and personnel meetings.
Check stock levels and order supplies and materials.
Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety.
Perform additional duties at the store when circumstances dictate.
Cross-train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar.
