About The Position

This is a seasonal position taking place from July until December 2026. The role involves rotating through several tasks in the bakery, including planting, dipping, wrapping, filling, and packaging of product while adhering to food safety and quality procedures.

  • Consistently follow departmental directions and adhere to all product specifications, food safety programs, GMPs, and HACCP Policies.
  • Observe products within the assigned production process and ensure correct count, flavor, label accuracy and correct case packs.
  • Rotate among duties within the Bakery production line including fruit placing, chocolate dipping, sample chopping, wrapping and packing.
  • Perform other production duties: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Set up packaging material based on order, fill cookies based on matrix, insert packing materials to complete the product based on specification.
  • Create samples for retail and wholesale sampling.
  • Maintain product knowledge and general information.
  • Fill packaged products into cases and date and store in designated location.
  • Operate and assist in various bakery equipment such as heat-sealing gun, sealing machine, table top chocolate tempering machine, flow wrappers, chocolate tempering tanks, and vertical feeder.
  • Perform quality control checks consistently and properly throughout the bakery production processes.
  • Ensure that raw ingredients and raw materials used are of good quality and appropriate quantity.
  • Make sure that all perishable items are stored and rotated properly.
  • Cross-train with other department members for maximum flexibility.
  • Observe color of cookies (unbaked and baked) and inform Baker of not up to standard quality.
  • Observe products across multiple stages, including ensuring proper weights, baking, quantity/distribution, cooling timeline, and label accuracy.
  • Assist Order Fulfillment and Packing production during peak season.
  • Ensure all bakery products and ingredients are properly labeled and dated following FIFO and best before date standard protocols.
  • Report any issues or problems to the production lead or immediate supervisor.
  • Participate in training and progress developments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
