About The Position

99 Ranch Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support bakery department operations. The role includes preparing raw materials according to recipes and supervisor instructions, wrapping and packaging bakery products, maintaining product signage and displays, stocking and rotating merchandise, monitoring expiration dates, and helping customers. Checkout and cash handling may also be assigned. General duties include receiving and organizing deliveries, maintaining a clean and safe work area, following food-safety and sanitation requirements, handling expired or damaged products as directed, limiting waste, safeguarding company assets, participating in demonstrations and promotions, and cooperating with the team. Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Prepare raw materials according to recipes and supervisor instructions.
Wrap and package bakery products accurately and efficiently based on customer requests.
Ensure products have proper signage and are displayed according to company standards.
Stock and replenish shelves and rotate products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.
Monitor expiration dates and remove expired or damaged products from displays.
Greet customers, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service.
Follow cash-handling procedures and complete checkout accurately and efficiently when assigned.
Unload and break down deliveries and maintain an organized stockroom.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment.
Follow company policies, food-safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and applicable government regulations.
Handle expired, damaged, or recalled products according to supervisor instructions.
Use ingredients and materials efficiently to minimize product waste.
Help safeguard department products, supplies, equipment, and other company assets.
Participate in product demonstrations and promotional activities when assigned.
Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to support department operations.
