About The Position

As a Bakery Clerk, you will contribute to the success of the bakery department by providing friendly and efficient customer service, maintaining a well-stocked and clean bakery area, and assisting in the production of fresh baked goods. The role involves interacting with customers, preparing bakery items, and ensuring products meet high standards for presentation and quality. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with bakery product selections, providing product information and recommendations.
• Package, label, and price bakery items according to established guidelines.
• Present bakery displays attractively and rotate products to maintain freshness.
• Assist in producing baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing, and baking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the bakery area in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Receive, inspect, and stock bakery products; monitor inventory and notify management of shortages.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and slicers.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and support a positive working environment.
