About The Position

We are looking for individuals who are good with people, responsible, comfortable in the kitchen, and possess a strong work ethic. We will provide the necessary training. In this role, you will welcome customers with a smile, review the menu, make recommendations, and ensure a superior customer experience. You will use the POS system to process transactions accurately, pack orders with care, and perform various customer service tasks as directed. Maintaining clean, neat, and organized areas is essential. Responsibilities also include prepping, baking, and clean-up as needed. Specific tasks involve baking cookies, maintaining a positive attitude, working well in a team, committing to shifts, following company policies, and completing orders with attention to detail. You will also answer questions confidently, recover dissatisfied guests, and ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to food safety standards. Assisting in the kitchen to support baking activities is also part of the role. A valid CA Food Handler's Certificate is required upon hire.

Requirements

Reliability and excellent attendance are required.
Previous quick service food handling experience in either the hospitality or food and beverage industry required.
One year of experience in a customer service environment.
Must maintain and follow strict cleaning and food handling/safety guidelines.
Mask and gloves are required at all times.
Able to precisely and consistently bake cookies according to baking instructions.
Has integrity, positive attitude & takes initiative.
Is comfortable working on a team and independently.
Must be trustworthy.
Will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to protect recipes, etc.
Has the ability to work well under pressure.
Has excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently.
Ability to multitask while paying special attention to detail and is meticulous.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience using POS (point-of-sale) equipment is a plus.
Valid CA Food Handler's Certificate required upon hire.

Responsibilities
