Requirements

Proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the bakery.
Correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise.
Building of displays.
Meeting safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Adherence to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

Managing department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and labor and safety rules.
Planning and ordering products and supplies.
Scheduling work to maximize sales and gross profit.
Ensuring all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the bakery.
Providing proper supervision to ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays.
Performing a variety of other tasks in the store.
Making sure all employees are meeting safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
Adhering to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
