About The Position
Our bakery at 2216 General Booth Boulevard is passively looking for a dependable, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead daily operations, support the team, and deliver a strong guest experience while directly supporting the bakery's General Manager. We anticipate this position being open at the end of April.
Requirements
- Flexible weekend availability is mandatory - we are a holiday and event based business
- Stellar reliability - our team is small and reliability is a must
- Strong leadership presence
- Ability to thrive in both a fast-paced environment and a slow environment
- Confidence to candidly coach and hold a team accountable
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
Responsibilities
- Support daily operations across FOH, BOH, and community events
- Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable
- Ensure a high-quality guest experience and strong team culture
- Assist with scheduling, training, and shift execution
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and product quality
- Manage labor, inventory, and waste to meet business goals
- Support events, marketing, and community engagement efforts
- Ensure accurate cash handling and follow operational procedures
