About The Position

At Bruegger's, we have been kettle cooking our bagels and serving tradition for over 35 years. We are committed to serving genuine, New York-style bagels and real, made-in-Vermont cream cheese, and we are also committed to work-life balance for our team. Our stores close at 2pm, ensuring you never miss important life events. We are looking for a Baker to join our team. The Baker is crucial to our operation, arriving early to prepare our signature bagels. This role ensures quality product availability by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. Bakers also contribute to excellent guest service by assisting with order taking and sandwich making, and take pride in maintaining food and beverage quality, as well as a safe and clean store environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case.
• Work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc.
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages we serve.
• Keep a safe and clean store environment.
