Requirements
- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time.
- Ability to walk in the store.
- Ability to bend, stoop and kneel regularly.
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination to operate equipment.
- Full range of upper body motion to lift stock.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time.
- Functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and to operate equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
Responsibilities
- Preparing baked goods and displaying said.
- Operating mixers, ovens, scales, slicers, fryers, as well as wrap and price items within the bakery department.
- Icing pastries and decorating cakes.
- Filling displays.
- Assisting customers with purchases and any other tasks assigned by management.
- Maintaining a clean work area and following all safety rules set in place by the store.
- Adhering to strict standards of sanitation, food safety and personal hygiene.
