Our in-house Pastry Department is proud to offer a wide variety of items such as daily Artisan breads, pastries, scones, muffins, cookies and various types of dough. Paid overtime. Requirements

The willingness to learn in a team environment while striving to exceed Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
Proven experience as a baker, with a strong portfolio of baked goods.
Knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
The ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a stressful environment, and creative problem-solving skills.
A positive and proactive approach and an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
Minimum 1-year previous experience in a fine dining establishment or similar.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed.
The ability to make a commitment to the position for a mutually understood and agreed upon period of time.

Nice To Haves

Culinary school diploma or relevant certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.

Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and more.
Follow recipes and production schedules to ensure timely and consistent output.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately.
Operate and maintain baking equipment and tools.
Ensure all baked goods meet our quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and products.
