This role is crucial in mixing raw materials to create finished products according to batch recipes, ensuring equipment operates within specifications and maintaining high-quality products.
Requirements
- Completion of high school education or equivalent
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- food manufacturing experience is an asset
Responsibilities
- Obtains and reviews all documentation for making batches
- Stages and prepares ingredients for blends and mixes as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas
- Ensure proper and safe operation of the equipment including cleaning and inspection
- Responsible for practicing and adhering to Food Safety, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Health and Safety
- Regularly monitor that the product confirms to quality and safety specifications
- Strictly follows recipes to make product batches and feed production lines
- Accurately enters mix records onto computer in a timely manner
- Participate in changeovers and clean-up or sanitation of equipment
