About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent high level of food quality and guest service within the bakery department. The role involves ensuring cleanliness of back-of-house areas, adhering to all food production, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures, and demonstrating technical skills in portion control and culinary service standards. The Baker III supports daily operations, manages production sheets and logs, assists with food ordering and inventory control, and maintains organized food storage areas with proper rotation and utilization of products. Excellent communication regarding daily menu items, food presentation, taste, and temperature is crucial. The role also emphasizes maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, excellent customer relations, and ensuring a safe working environment for all co-workers. The Baker III is expected to write prep lists, ensure kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition, and promote professional work habits to foster customer loyalty and repeat business. Additionally, the role involves seeking opportunities to minimize expenses and increase employee productivity without compromising guest services, communicating respectfully with co-workers, following directions from superiors, and meeting attendance guidelines and company policies. The Baker III must adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically, serve as an outstanding example for Downstream Casino Resort, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a professional work environment. Attendance at all necessary training meetings and assistance with other projects as directed are also required. Duties and responsibilities are subject to change as needed, and hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

Requirements
