Grand Canyon National Park Lodges operates 6 hotels, 7 retail shops, and various restaurants and dining facilities in the historic Grand Canyon Village. As one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Grand Canyon National Park is a place of remarkable beauty, peace, scenic grandeur and top-notch hospitality. We’re hiring a Baker II to Live. Work. Explore. at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon! The basic function of this position is to prepare baked items for the dining rooms and special functions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in volume production
- Ability to work on several tasks at once in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Follows written and verbal direction well
- Flexible schedule, ability to rotate between AM and PM shifts as needed
- Ability to scale up/down recipe quantities
- Knowledge of recipe reading and measurements
- Constantly: Stand, walk, handle, reach outward, bend, lift/carry up to 20lbs, push/pull up to 25lbs.
- Frequently: Reach above the shoulder, squat/kneel, lift/carry up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 40lbs.
- Occasionally: Sit, climb, crawl, lift/carry up to 100lbs, push/pull up to 100lbs.
