We're thrilled to announce the opening of our newest Rosauers Supermarkets location this June! We're looking for enthusiastic team members to be part of something exciting from the very start. This position offers the unique opportunity to join our pre-opening team, with training for your role beginning before our doors open and the chance to help with store setup, so we're ready to deliver the exceptional Rosauers experience our customers know and love from day one. MULTIPLE ROLES AND SHIFTS AVAILABLE. Do you wake up with the sun, eager to get your hands doughy? Does the scent of freshly baked bread bring a bigger smile to your face than a viral cat video? If so, we have a knead for you! We're seeking a Baker to join our dough-lightful team at Rosauers Supermarkets. We're not just any supermarket. We're a community. A community of food enthusiasts, and above all, people who know how to turn simple ingredients into bite-sized moments of joy! As our Baker, you'll be the doughy heart of our operations, mixing magic into every pastry, pie, and loaf of bread that comes out of our ovens. Our customers start their day with the smell of your creations wafting through the store - that's some serious responsibility!

Requirements

Experience: You're no stranger to a bakery - you've rolled up your sleeves and baked before.
Passion: You love food and have a special place in your heart for baked goods.
Creativity: You have innovative ideas and love experimenting with new recipes.
People Skills: You enjoy interacting with customers and providing top-notch service.
Strength: You're able to lift up to 50 pounds - baking is hard work!
You must be 18 years of age or older
All candidates must complete a background check
Ability to lift, carry and push up to 50 pounds
Ability to obtain a valid food worker card

Responsibilities

Baking a wide variety of breads, pastries, pies, and more - all as delicious as they are beautiful.
Interacting with customers, and serving them with a big smile - you're the face of our bakery department!
Carefully packaging our baked goods, because presentation is as important as taste.
Keeping the bakery department fully stocked, ensuring our customers always find their favorite treats.
Managing ingredient inventory, ensuring we never run out of what we need to create our tasty goodies.
Maintaining a clean and safe bakery - because nothing dampens the spirit like a messy kitchen!
Be ready and willing to take on additional tasks as needed - we're a team, and we help each other out!
