About The Position

Work in our World of Confections! Join our exceptional Big Island Candies' Factory Team, and be a part of producing our signature products, known and enjoyed around the world. Do you love chocolate? Requirements

• Must be able to work independently or with a team
• Able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Ability to communicate and share information with peers and internal customers

• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must have basic math skills
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with baking cookies, pies, brownies, breads, etc.
• Set up, operate and disassemble various bakery equipment
• Demonstrate knowledge and comply with Big Island Candies' Safety, Quality, and Reliability Procedures
• Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards
• Work safely to prevent injury to self and others, and prevent damage to products, equipment and property
• Maintain cleanliness within the work area
• Produce exquisite confectionary products
• Perform food-safety and quality-control checks
• Complete other duties as assigned
