The Head Cook assists in meal preparation, service, and kitchen maintenance. This role ensures timely and accurate food production, maintains cleanliness, and follows established safety and dietary guidelines. Responsibilities include: Preparing and portioning assigned meal components following standardized recipes. Assisting with meal plating, tray assembly, and service to residents and customers. Maintaining proper food temperatures and documenting records as required. Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. Practicing safe food handling, storage, and rotation. Supporting special events and catering as directed. Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication. Participating in departmental meetings and ongoing education.
